The Cosplay Masquerade and Catwalks are open to anyone aged 12 and over. Anyone under the age of 12 may participate in our Kids Cosplay Masquerade, provided they have the consent of a parent or guardian, and their parent or guardian is present during the competition.

At present, our SEC events do not have dedicated changing facilities. If you are travelling to the show, we recommend that you plan how best to accommodate your cosplay.

The SEC has a dedicated cloakroom on site. This will be run by SEC staff and prices will be set by the SEC. This will mainly be for jackets and small items. Storage of any bags and large items will be at the discretion of SEC staff.

Limited storage will be available at our Cosplay Desk for the storage of large cosplay props to be used during the C3 Cosplay Championship. Use of this area will be at the discretion of our Cosplay Rep., and it should not be used for general storage for the day.

In general, many cosplayers will be happy to have their picture taken or to take a picture with you, but please ensure that you ASK the person’s permission before doing so and be mindful of other attendees around you when taking photographs. If a cosplayer requests that you do not take their photograph or declines to have their photograph taken with you, this MUST be respected.

Cosplay is not consent.
