ACCESSIBILITY

Pumpkin Chariot Cosplays as Scarlet Witch

Rai Con is held at the SEC, Glasgow.

The SEC Centre has automatic doors at both East and West entrances and every hall in the SEC Centre is at ground level, making the event easily accessible for wheelchair users. The main concourse is broad, flat, and accessible, with wide open spaces and corridors. There are also lifts available to take patrons up to the first and only other level of the SEC Centre. Further information on venue accessibility can be found here.

Rai Con, and The SEC Campus in general, is a busy and exciting place. Please be aware that it is likely that you may need to stand for long periods during your time there. We ask that you please consider your own needs and what you may require before attending the event.

EAR DEFENDERS

We appreciate that for some people, large conventions with big crowds can be a difficult environment to be in. To help make your visit to our events as enjoyable as possible, we have a limited number of ear defenders available for attendee use. These are primarily for use by children and adults with Autism and other Sensory Processing Disorders and are available to hire from our Operations desk, for a deposit of £5 per pair, which will be returned upon return of the ear defenders.

Early Access tickets are available for those who wish to make use of this facility to gain faster access and enter the event at the quieter priority times between 9am and 11am each day. There is also seating available on the inner concourse which can be utilised during queuing times. If you feel that additional adjustments may be required to assist your attendance at our events, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via our contact form and we will do our best to assist wherever possible.
