Rai Con Judge: Alyssa Axen
Please welcome our next cosplay judge for Rai Con, Sat 11 May at the SEC Glasgow, Alyssa Axen!
Alyssa Axen is a cosplayer from Scotland that has been cosplaying for 10 years. She loves to work on heavily sewing and handwork based costumes with experience working with foam, props and a thirst for learning new sewing techniques. She has studied Costume Design and making (BA Hons) which Cosplaying originally ignited her love for! Alyssa has a wealth of knowledge: everything from historical costuming to fantasy. She specialises in making and modifying patterns and fitting costumes. She has experience in special effect face-painting, cosplay makeup and wig styling as well as fabricating costumes. She's always ready to talk about new techniques and cosplaying!
She has a history competing locally and is preparing to compete at various UK qualifiers soon. And has won at Rai Con before!
